12 Steps Online
Welcome to the online 12 Steps Workshop! Per AA’s slogan to “keep it simple” you will find below the StepWorkshop outline for the First Step with instructions and speaker tapes laid out in their proper order. Please note: to access all the assignments and exercises you must register for the 12 Steps Workshop and attend the online StepWorkshop Meetings.
We will begin your stepwork with these Step One reading assignments, speaker tapes and exercises click here. These assignments are only a sample of the Stepwork. You must register and attend the 12 Steps online Workshop meetings to receive the assignments and exercises for all 12 Steps.
The Stepworkshop meetings are held online via Skype. Our Skype name is: stepworkshop. You will need to get create an account (it’s free!), then add us as a “contact” so we can call you to join us. Working the 12 Steps is an experiential process of self-discovery through recovery. Participants in the 12 Steps Workshop have experienced life-changing transformations that make the Promises come true. By the time you complete the StepWorkshop you will:
• Discover who you are and what makes you “tick”
• Gain a peaceful acceptance of yourself
• Develop new coping skills to replace destructive habits and compulsions
• Maintain an emotional comfortability that you have never felt before
• Acquire the awareness of a spiritual awakening
• Know that you are on the path to permanent emotional sobriety.
