Mary Pearl aka “Merp” from Little Rock, Arkansas is about the most popular 12 Steps speaker in Alanon. Her description of the characteristics of an addict that gets addicted to people, places and things is memorable. Excellent talk on how she applies the 12 Step principles in her relationships in her life.
Remember, we need to perk our ears up and listen whenever we hear the key words or when Merp discusses the spiritual principle of honesty that we practice in the 1st Step.
