Step One
“We admitted we were powerless over alcohol – that our lives had become unmanageable.”

Scott L. of Nashville, TN and Bob D. of Las Vegas, NV shared on Step 1 at the 10th Fellowship of the Spirit in Garrison, NY, in August 2008. They both did an outstanding job defining powerlessness, alcoholism and working the program of Alcoholics Anonymous. Incredible presentation on the First Step!

Remember, we need to perk our ears up and listen whenever we hear the key words or when they discuss the spiritual principle of honesty that we practice in the 1st Step.

Lest we forget:
*Honesty is the spiritual principle we practice in the Step One. Honesty begins with self-honesty.
